Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am the creator of Abbika. Abbika makes and sells 100% Vegan handcrafted soaps and skincare.
I started making soap more than 18 months ago for a few reasons. One, being a mum to two toddlers, I needed a hobby to help keep my sanity 
Two, I wanted to use soaps and skincare that I knew were gentle, ethical, and enjoyable to use. I was delighted to find that not only did *I* love what I was making, but so did my family and friends. Fast forward to today, and I am still loving what I make, and now I want to share it. So, I created Abbika.
Abbika soaps are:
- 100% Handmade in Melbourne, Australia
- 100% Vegan
- Made using the traditional cold process method, allowing our soap to retain its natural, humectant glycerin
- A delight to use
- Full of goodies like shea butter; fairtrade, organic cocoa powder; cocoa butter; ricebran oil; olive oil; tofu(!); and essential oils
- Contain no synthetic fragrances, hardeners, talcs, etc
- Minimally packaged
Coinciding with the launch of the Abbika website, we are proud to be a supporter of World Vegan Day 2007. If you attend this event on Sunday, the 29th of October at Phoenix Community Reserve in East Malvern, you will receive a discount voucher in your showbag to be redeemed on the website. We have also donated one of each of our 10 soaps to be raffled off on the day.
